Creating jewelry has an environmental and social impact. At Agapée, we believe in making responsible choices at every stage of creation, from the sourcing of materials to the finishing of each piece.

Our metals, gold, silver and brass, contain 70% to 90% recycled material and come from controlled, traceable suppliers.

Our 18-carat gold plating is applied in Paris through galvanization, ensuring durability and lasting brilliance. Water used during the gold-plating process is recovered and recycled to limit our impact.

Our lab-grown diamonds are ethically produced in controlled laboratories, selected for their traceability and reduced environmental footprint. We source colored stones with care, prioritizing lab-created alternatives such as glass stones and cubic zirconia.

Our freshwater pearls are sourced in the historic birthplace of cultured pearls, where traditional expertise meets evolving environmental awareness.

All Agapée jewelry is nickel-free, lead-free and hypoallergenic.

We collaborate with trusted partners who share our commitment to responsible production. Many of our suppliers are certified by the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC), an independent organization that sets strict ethical, social, and environmental standards throughout the jewelry supply chain. We are committed to partnering exclusively with certified suppliers while working toward our own certification.

Each piece undergoes rigorous quality control at every stage of production, before and after gold plating, and once again after stones and pearls are set.

Creating jewelry designed to stay with you for years is one of the most responsible choices we can make. Agapée jewelry is crafted with this in mind and covered by a two-year warranty against oxidation and plating defects.

The same care extends to our packaging. Each piece is placed in a cotton and linen pouch designed to protect it when not worn, and presented in our signature cardboard box, minimal and recyclable.
